Architectural Draftsperson Draw and document new and ongoing interior and exterior architectural projects Prepare and interpret plans, preliminary sketches, working drawings and detailed specifications, ensuring that designs are feasible for implementation and cost-effective Demonstrate capability in conceptual design, construction and tender documentation Support the Design team and construction managers, architects and surveyors Communicate closely with internal teams Have an acute sense of management skills to take key initiatives and coordinate projects Be responsible for conducting on site measurement accurately and incorporating it into your designs Coordinate with the councils and clients for the CDC and OC approvals for the architectural design Have strong knowledge of Council controls and regulations and Australian Standards Be responsible for keeping a data base of existing and any recent material/fixtures suppliers Coordinate with the in-house estimation and projects team for the successful delivery of the projects designed by the team.
