Job Description About the Role We're looking for a Field Service Supervisor to run two field service crews working on pump installation and repair across water infrastructure sites in Bondi and Little Bay.
You'll be responsible for two 2-man crews — a fitter and an electrician on each — running between both sites day to day, acting as the company's rep on the ground and staying hands-on with the work yourself.
There's admin behind the scenes too — estimating, SWMS, job packs and ITPs — but the core of the role is running both crews and both jobs on site.
What You'll Be Doing • Leading and coordinating two 2-man field service crews (a fitter and an electrician on each) across the Bondi and Little Bay sites, moving between both day to day • Getting hands-on with installation, fault-finding and repair of pumps, motors and associated equipment • Acting as the company's on-site representative, liaising directly with the client's site supervisors and engineers at both locations • Planning and sequencing daily work across both sites to meet job deadlines and client requirements • Ensuring safety compliance is followed on site, including JSEAs, permits to work, isolations and risk assessments • Reviewing and signing off service reports, job notes and photographic evidence of completed work • Ordering parts and materials and coordinating logistics for both crews • Mentoring and upskilling less experienced crew members on site • Estimating labour,

materials and time for upcoming jobs • Updating SWMS to suit the specifics of each job • Organising job packs ahead of works commencing • Organising internal and external Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) Requirements About You • Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or Electrician (other trades will be considered if you've got solid experience in pumps or water treatment jobs) • Holds a White Card • Confined Spaces ticket (or willing to obtain) • Working at Heights ticket (or willing to obtain) • At least 3 years experience working as a supervisor • Experience working on water treatment jobs, field service, or marine field service highly regarded • MR licence highly regarded — you'll be running between both sites daily • Comfortable splitting your time across two crews while still getting hands-on yourself — this isn't a desk job • On-the-job training provided for crew members with lighter experience Benefits What's On Offer • Flat rate $80–$110/hour depending on experience, plus $10/hour uplift for night shifts • Candidates with lighter experience who supply their own tool van or ute may qualify for an additional hourly loading • Fully serviced work ute once made permanent • Casual position via Rockmount, with the option to go full time with the client post-contract Requirements Trade-qualification (Mechanical/Plumbing/Electrical) Holds a White Card Confined Spaces ticket (or willing to obtain) Working at Heights ticket (or willing to obtain) At least 1 year post-trade experience working in the pump industry, or some exposure to pumps Experience working on water treatment jobs highly regarded MR licence highly regarded On-the-job training provided for candidates with lighter pump experience
