A great chance has become available for an experienced Crane Supervisor Trainer to join the BMS Heavy Cranes Team.
We are looking for a passionate and energetic professional to join our team as a Crane Supervisor Trainer in the delivery of projects associated with our heavy cranes and service operations.
Your Role The Supervisor / Trainer is the BMS Heavy Cranes representative and ambassador on site and, where no Site Manager is appointed, has overall responsibility for the safe and efficient execution of the LG**** lifting operation and associated project activities.
This is a specialist heavy-lift position , requiring proven practical experience with the Liebherr LG**** and the ability to independently lead the assembly, rigging, de-rigging, mobilisation and lifting operations of an SX-configured machine.
Key Responsibilities The Supervisor / Trainer is responsible for: Overall lifting operations associated with the LG**** on site.
Leading the rigging, assembly, de-rigging and mobilisation of the LG**** without direct supervision , across all SX and SX3 configurations, from pad to pad and project to project.
Ensuring the LG**** is correctly configured, assembled, rigged and prepared in accordance with approved lift plans, OEM requirements and BMS Heavy Cranes procedures.
Leading, supervising and developing the LG**** crew , including crane operators, riggers, doggers and supporting personnel.
Providing practical training, assessment and mentoring to personnel working on the LG**** and other BMS Heavy Cranes equipment.
Crew management , including allocation of duties, performance management, competency development and maintaining a high-performing team.
Roster management , ensuring appropriate crew coverage,



fatigue management and operational continuity.
LG**** equipment management , including the crane, attachments, ballast, lifting equipment and associated support equipment.
Ensuring equipment is correctly maintained, inspected, prepared and presented for each lifting operation.
Maintaining a high level of HSE compliance across all LG**** assembly, rigging, mobilisation and lifting activities.
Ensuring all lifting activities are conducted safely and in accordance with approved procedures, lift plans and BMS Heavy Cranes standards.
Acting as the primary BMS Heavy Cranes representative in relation to the LG**** operation when dealing with clients, contractors and project partners.
Identifying and addressing operational issues, risks and opportunities before they impact safety, productivity or project delivery.
Management in General Supervise/train operation/rigging/de-rigging of cranes with focus on LG**** High focus on HSE-Q — correct/instruct where needed Convey BMS Heavy Cranes values to new employees Be visible, show enthusiasm and set a good example Ensure a high level of internal and external communication Sub-supplier check of certificates (manpower equipment) Instruction regarding internal and external Safety and Quality Standards and Procedures Manage and plan own and subcontracted equipment Daily Responsibilities Manage, train, coordinate, motivate and support appointed manpower onsite Request and review lift drawings for lifting operations Coordinate and plan work with customers,



subcontractors and internal/external resources Execute toolbox meetings, including plan of the day, customer information, HSE awareness and BMS HC management information Ensure site operation execution complies with internal and external Safety and Quality standards and procedures Lead by example regarding safety awareness and reporting Approve and sign timesheets from own manpower and subcontractors Check BMS PPE and lifting equipment prior to use Complete pre-lift checklists Ensure high maintenance of BMS equipment, including oil levels, tidying and cleaning Complete miscellaneous daily reports HIGH focus on cost savings relating to own manpower and equipment and subcontractors such as manpower, rental trucks and cranes Constantly evaluate and educate new employees Weekly Responsibilities Complete site progress reporting to Project Manager Approve weekly timesheets from crew Ensure weekly timesheets are sent to administration Monthly Responsibilities Complete travel expenses and other relevant documentation Report on training progress of new employees Successful Candidate The successful candidate will have: Valid Open crane High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) Valid Driver's Licence — Car (C) and Heavy Vehicle (HR or HC preferred) GWO Training — desirable Valid Wheel Loader and Forklift Licence Strong organisational and interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong time management skills Ability to manage conflicting priorities Job Type: Full-time Pay: Applicable EBA Rates Experience: Training: 1 year (Preferred) Licence/Certification: Driver Licence (Preferred) Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred) Work Location: As required from a project-to-project basis across the APAC region Application posted: 09/09/2026 Application deadline: 08/10/2026
