Helicopter:
AS350 B2 VH-RDA (Call sign: FB279) FB279 is well equipped with air conditioning, ETM **** trend monitoring systems, Bluetooth external gauges for load monitoring, Garmin synthetic vision, and near-recent role equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Fire Fighting Bucket Operations – 150' Line
Aerial Incendiaries Operations – Red Dragon
Aerial Drip Torch Operations
Precision Long Line




Aerial Seeding and Fertiliser Operations (if applicable)
Charter Flights as needed
Roster:
15 days on, 13 days off
Compensation:
Wage negotiable based on experience and capabilities
Contract length: 4 months with potential for extension
Requirements:
Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter) (CPL(H))
Class 1 Medical Certificate
**** hours PIC Helicopter
100 hours on AS350
500 hours turbine time
Aerial Application (Fire) rating
ASIC, HUET, CRM, DG, Flying the Wire, Bushfire Awareness certifications
Australian Driver's Licence
No accident history in the last 5 years
Proficiency with 150' long line operations
Knowledge of OzRunways and Fire Mapper Enterprise or willingness to learn
R44 endorsement and experience
Aerial Application Rating (IMS seeding/fertilizer operations)
Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) (PPL(A))
