About the Role:
PLC Sydney is seeking exceptional, dynamic, and collaborative History Teachers to join our high-performing team on a temporary part-time (0.6 FTE) basis commencing Term 1, ****. We currently have two contract opportunities available:
Temporary, part-time (0.6 FTE) for Terms 1 & 2 (2 terms)
Temporary, part-time (0.6 FTE) for Terms 1, 2 & 3 (3 terms)
Working with motivated and highly engaged students, you will deliver rigorous learning programs in a well-resourced,



forward-thinking environment designed to foster deep understanding, academic excellence, and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across secondary year levels in alignment with curriculum standards.
Monitor progress, design assessments, and create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
Work closely with colleagues on curriculum development and maintain clear communication with parents and staff.
Selection Criteria:
Formal secondary teaching qualification(s) and current NESA registration.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in delivering History lessons across all secondary year levels.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of creating an inclusive high-performing classroom environment.
You will be required to support the Christian ethos of the College.
