This is a highly varied marketing role where you'll have the chance to take ownership of the College's communications, content and brand presence.One day you could be photographing a major school event, the next developing a social media campaign, creating content for the school website, working on the College magazine or helping promote enrolments.You'll have the opportunity to:Own and shape the College's marketing and communications presenceCreate engaging content across digital, social and traditional channelsBring events, student achievements and community stories to lifeWork across photography, graphic design, social media and content creationHelp shape campaigns that support enrolments and community engagementDevelop and maintain brand and style guidelinesWork closely with College leadership and staff across the organisationBuild relationships with local community organisations, schools and partnersHave plenty of creative freedom and variety in your dayBe part of a close-knit regional community in Forbes, NSWAbout the roleReporting to the Deputy Principal, you'll be responsible for planning, developing and delivering marketing and communications initiatives that enhance the College's reputation,



visibility and engagement.You'll be involved in:Developing and delivering marketing and communications campaignsManaging social media platforms and creating engaging editorial contentMaintaining and developing the College websiteCreating digital and social media assetsPhotographing major College events, activities and achievementsDesigning marketing collateral and promotional materialsCoordinating the College newsletter and magazineSupporting the Annual ReportPromoting Open Days, enrolment events, performances, liturgies and community celebrationsSupporting enrolment marketing and school toursPreparing content for local mediaDeveloping promotional resources for faculties, teams and eventsSupporting internal communications and staff engagementMonitoring marketing analytics and preparing performance reportsConducting market research and competitor analysisKeeping up with emerging marketing and social media trendsSupporting broader workforce recruitment marketing initiativesBring your creativityWe're looking for someone who enjoys creating rather than simply coordinating.You'll ideally have experience across:Marketing and communicationsSocial media managementContent creation and copywritingPhotography and photo editingGraphic designWebsite managementDigital marketingEvent promotionExperience with Canva, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite,



Mailchimp and website platforms such as Wix will be highly regarded.You'll also bring:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsA strong eye for detail and visual presentationExcellent organisational and time-management skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrong initiative and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with othersA genuine understanding of social media trends and digital engagementThe confidence to work with senior stakeholders and external partnersA tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related discipline would be desirable, as would previous experience within education.More than marketingThis role sits at the heart of the College community.You'll be there to capture the moments that matter — student achievements, sporting events, performances, community celebrations, milestones and everyday moments that tell the story of life at the College.You'll help ensure prospective families understand what makes the school different, while keeping current students, parents, staff and the wider community connected and engaged.You'll also play an important role in ensuring the College's strong values and identity are consistently reflected across everything it communicates.A role with variety and visibilityIf you enjoy a role where you can create, collaborate, photograph, write, design, strategise and see the direct impact of your work, this opportunity offers plenty of scope.You'll have the chance to build a portfolio of meaningful work while contributing to a school community with a strong sense of purpose.The detailsLocation: Forbes, NSWEmployment: Full-Time or Part-TimeDepartment: OperationsReports to: Deputy PrincipalClassification: School Support 2-7b, in accordance with the relevant NSW Catholic Independent Schools Support Staff Enterprise Agreement.Some flexibility outside standard College hours will be required for major events, functions, meetings and presentations.Ready to tell a story that matters?
