Early Childhood Teacher | Fernvale
Full time | 38 hours per week

About the Role

Journey Early Learning Fernvale is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children’s learning, wellbeing and development.

As our ECT, you’ll create a high-quality learning environment where children feel confident, capable and connected, while building strong relationships with children and families and working collaboratively with educators and the Centre Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver a high-quality program aligned with the EYLF
- Create engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence and independence
- Observe, document and reflect on children’s learning and development
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Work collaboratively with educators to create a consistent learning environment
- Support children’s wellbeing, learning and development through intentional teaching
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and safeguarding

About You

- ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification
- Completed National Child Safety Training (GECKO)
- Experience delivering a Kindergarten or school readiness program
- Strong understanding of the EYLF and transition‑to‑school practices
- Warm, nurturing,



and relationship‑focused teaching style
- Strong communication and family engagement skills
- Passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences
- Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
