About the Team
The Research Office supports researchers across the full research lifecycle and partners with faculties and divisions to enable research activity. The Research Projects and Planning unit provides administrative support for project planning, costing, pricing and project establishment and project post award activities.
Job Purpose
This role provides research administration support across project establishment, project data entry and related post award activities. It also contributes to general administrative support across the Research Office as required.
Detailed Description
Role Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for proposal/ project establishment including data entry, monitoring milestones and deliverables, and supporting variations and closures.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with records management requirements.
Support development and improvement of standard processes and digital workflow tools.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities and office wide projects.
Provide administrative support across the Research Projects and Planning unit, Research Contracts unit, and broader Research Office.
Assist with tasks such as meeting and event coordination, mailbox management, invoice support, and record keeping.

Experience
Experience using office software, databases, and administrative systems.
Experience working in a team environment and supporting shared outcomes.
Experience working in a high volume environment is desirable.
Experience in a university or research setting is desirable.
Qualifications
Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent administrative experience.

Remuneration/Salary
What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $78,352 - $83,807 per annum (pro rata) (HEW4) plus 17% superannuation (pension)
The position is part time and will be made on a continuing basis.
