About the role

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide expert clinical nursing care and leadership for critically ill patients with a wide variety of complex conditions. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will utilise advanced clinical assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills while supporting and mentoring nursing staff.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Provide teaching to both consumers/patients and their families to facilitate learning and enable them to move towards independence.
- Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within the 4A ICU.
