Join a leading Australian manufacturing business as their next Commercial Finance Manager, and get involved in a multitude of projects and transformation initiatives.
Sitting within the Supply Chain function, this is a commercially focused role that will see you work closely with operational leaders across procurement, manufacturing, inventory and logistics, helping drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
You will lead key month-end activities, provide insightful analysis to stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls across the supply chain. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with the business and influencing outcomes beyond the numbers, and is looking to embed themselves in a business critical function.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with supply chain, operations and manufacturing leaders to provide financial insights and support operational decision-making.
- Lead month-end and year-end reporting activities, financial analysis and commentary.
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting across key supply chain cost drivers, including inventory, procurement, production and logistics.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities via detailed financial analysis to provide business performance improvements.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, strengthening reporting,
controls and financial visibility across the supply chain function.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence projects by providing financial modelling and commercial input.
About You
- CA/CPA qualified with proven experience in a Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Manager or Senior Business Partner role.
- Experience partnering with operational stakeholders within manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, supply chain or a related environment (essential).
- Strong month-end, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
- Ability to translate financial information into meaningful commercial insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience improving processes, reporting frameworks and financial controls.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the business.
