They’re looking for a BD Coordinator to join their Sydney team and work closely with lawyers, partners and the wider national BD, Marketing & Communications function.

A role with plenty of variety

This is a genuinely broad BD role, with a great mix of events, tenders, marketing and communications.

You'll work across:

- Tenders & proposals – coordinating responses, pulling together capability statements, CVs, credentials and submissions, and helping the firm put its best foot forward
- Events – supporting everything from intimate boardroom dinners and client functions through to larger conferences and CLE/learning events
- Content & communications – helping create compelling content for the firm's social media channels, supporting LinkedIn activity and bringing the firm's people, expertise and successes to life
- Website & profiles – assisting with website content, lawyer and partner profiles, CVs and other materials that showcase the firm's expertise
- Business development – working alongside lawyers and partners to understand their priorities and support client and practice group growth
- Coordination & delivery – keeping projects moving, managing deadlines and making sure the detail is right





You'll support the Sydney and Brisbane offices and work across a range of practice and industry groups, rather than being locked into one particular team.

Or you're a marketing and communications generalist who wants to move beyond content and campaigns and understand how professional services firms actually win work.

Maybe you're already comfortable with bids and tenders and want to build your events, communications and client-facing experience.

You don't need to tick every box.

The team has strong templates, processes and knowledge banks in place, and they're very comfortable teaching the technical side of law-firm BD to someone with the right attitude and transferable skills.

What you'll gain is exposure to the full BD mix — from writing a compelling social post or partner profile, to coordinating a major client event, to helping pull together a strategic tender that could win significant new work.

The culture

This is probably the most important part.

The Sydney office is relatively small, so you'll work directly alongside lawyers, partners and the broader corporate services team rather than being tucked away in a separate department.

The partners genuinely value BD and are generous with their time. You'll have plenty of opportunity to learn from experienced BD professionals and get exposure to senior people across the firm.
It's professional, but not corporate or stuffy. People are expected to work hard, take ownership and deliver - but they're also encouraged to ask questions, collaborate and have a laugh along the way.

Who are you?

You might be:

- A BD Coordinator or Assistant from a law firm or professional services setting
- An events coordinator with professional services experience who wants to move into broader BD & strategic marketing
- A marketing or communications generalist ready to get closer to commercial strategy
- Someone with bids, tenders or proposals experience looking to broaden their skillset
- Someone from a hospitality or service-led background who is exceptionally organised, proactive and great with people and strong written and event credentials

You’ll be someone who enjoys writing, creating, organising and making things happen. You’re detail-focused, comfortable juggling different priorities and confident dealing with people at all levels.

What matters most is that you're smart, organised, commercially curious and keen to build something long term.
