Sales & Client Experience Specialist – Part Time

Watsons Jewellers is seeking a part-time Sales & Client Experience Specialist to join our friendly Launceston team. This is an opportunity to work with beautiful jewellery and watches while providing the warm, professional and knowledgeable service for which Watsons is known.

Working 2 - 3 days per week across both our Watch Store and nearby Jewellery Store, including one Saturday per fortnight.

About the role

You will guide clients through their purchasing journey, taking the time to understand their needs, recommend suitable pieces and create an experience that encourages them to return.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming clients and providing attentive, personalized service

- Identifying client needs and confidently presenting suitable products

- Explaining product features and perks clearly

- Maximizing sales through appropriate recommendations, add-on sales and special orders or custom makes

- Following up enquiries, quotes and potential sales





- Conducting one-on-one client consultations when required

- Building lasting client relationships through after-sales service and thoughtful follow-up

- Professionally receiving and returning jewellery and watch repairs

- Accurately recording client details, repair instructions and due dates

- Maintaining high standards of store presentation, cleanliness and merchandising

- Developing strong product knowledge and consultive sales skills

- Supporting promotions and contributing ideas that improve the client experience

Previous experience in retail sales, jewellery, watches, fashion, beauty, luxury goods or another customer-focused environment would be highly regarded. Most importantly, you will enjoy connecting with people and helping them find the right piece for themselves or someone special.
