About the Role

We are looking for a recent Mechanical or Engineering graduate to join our Kalgoorlie team as an Internal Sales Representative.

This is a great opportunity to start your career within an established industrial distribution business, gaining practical exposure to industrial products, customers and real-world applications while developing both your technical and commercial skills.

You’ll work directly with customers, helping them identify the right products and solutions for their applications, preparing quotes, processing orders and providing ongoing support. You'll gain exposure to customers across a range of industrial sectors and develop valuable knowledge of products used in demanding operational environments.

This is also a hands-on role. As part of a small team, everyone pitches in, so you’ll also be involved in picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Providing friendly and responsive customer support via phone, email and in person.
- Learning our industrial product range and helping customers identify suitable products and solutions.
- Applying your technical knowledge to understand customer requirements and applications.
- Preparing quotations and following up customer enquiries.
- Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Building solid relationships with existing customers.
- Supporting the development of new customer relationships and business opportunities.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding products, pricing and availability.
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
- Receiving and putting away incoming stock.




- Developing your technical, commercial, product and industry knowledge as you grow within the role.

About You

You may be at the beginning of your career, so we’re not expecting you to know everything from day one. We’re looking for someone with the right technical foundation, attitude and willingness to learn.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- A recently completed Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or similar relevant degree.
- An interest in industrial products, machinery and practical engineering applications.
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset.
- A willingness to learn about our products and the industries we support.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role, including picking and packing orders.
- Previous customer service, retail, trade or industrial experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- Knowledge of bearings, power transmission, hydraulics or similar industrial products would also be highly regarded.
