Next Green Group and Next Business Energy are seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to support our executives, leaders and employees across the Group.

This permanent part-time role is 0.6 FTE, approximately three days per week, with working arrangements negotiable.

You will provide practical HR leadership across the employment lifecycle, employee relations, performance management, remuneration, payroll governance, and HR policies, systems and records.

What You Will Do
HR Leadership & Employee Relations

- Partner with executives and leaders on people matters, workforce priorities and consistent HR practice across the Group.

- Lead and support performance management, grievance, disciplinary and other formal employee procedures at all levels of the business.

- Provide balanced advice on conduct, attendance, leave, flexible work and workplace matters, escalating complex or high-risk issues appropriately.

- Coach managers to address issues early, communicate clearly and apply HR processes consistently.

Employee Lifecycle

- Coordinate recruitment, offers, contracts and pre-employment requirements.

- Manage onboarding, induction, policy acknowledgements, mandatory training and probation milestones.

- Manage employee changes, organisation charts, role profiles and qualified offboarding.

- Provide practical workforce planning, succession and capability insights.

HR Operations & Improvement

- Maintain HR policies, procedures, position descriptions, templates and confidential employee records.

- Support payroll governance, remuneration and benefit reviews, and workforce reporting.

- Oversee performance review, development, engagement and wellbeing activities.

- Improve HR systems and processes so they remain practical, compliant and fit for purpose.

- Monitor workplace relations developments and update practical policies,



processes and guidance.

- Support remuneration, role classification and career progression frameworks.

About You

- Experience as an HR Manager or senior HR Business Partner in a broad, hands-on role.

- Demonstrated experience supporting executives, managing group-wide performance processes and handling formal employee matters.

- Experience with remuneration, payroll governance, HR systems, recruitment, onboarding, policies and confidential employee records.

- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, up-to-date awards and sound HR practice.

- A calm, credible and discreet style, with the confidence to provide clear and balanced advice.

Experience & Qualifications

A qualification in human resources, employment relations, business or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is expected. Experience in energy, utilities, regulated services, organisational change, engagement or learning programs will be highly regarded.
