Clinical Manager - Residential Aged Care - Toowoomba

I'm partnering with an established aged care provider to recruit an experienced Clinical Manager for a senior leadership opportunity in Toowoomba.

This role is about more than clinical governance. We're looking for a strong people leader who can set clear expectations, develop capability and build an engaged, accountable and high-performing clinical team.

You'll hold responsibility for clinical care across a large residential aged care service, leading nursing and care teams while working closely with senior operational leadership.

- Approximately $145K–$155K package, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach and develop nursing and care teams to build a positive, accountable and high-performing culture
- Provide oversight of high-quality, person-centred clinical care and resident outcomes
- Manage employee performance, capability, education and development across the clinical team
- Maintain strong clinical governance and compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Oversee clinical documentation, assessments, care planning and changes in resident care needs
- Monitor clinical indicators,



identify trends and drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead clinical audits, corrective actions and ongoing accreditation readiness

Essentials:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior nursing position within residential aged care
- Proven people leadership experience across coaching, performance management and team development
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated clinical governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement experience
- Infection Prevention and Control qualification, or willingness to obtain
- Gerontology qualification, or willingness to obtain
- Current driver's licence
