As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) you will provide excellent care to our residents at mecwacare Malvern Centre, a 101 – bed facility. About the role:

- Part-time and Casual opportunities available (minimum 24 hours, up to 75 hours per fortnight).
- Work from our Malvern location and support a valued local community.
- Conveniently located in the heart of Malvern with easy access to public transport
- Shifts available across AM, PM and night, including weekdays and weekends.

What you Bring:

- A minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or a relevant Certificate III/IV qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in an aged care home, ideally with proven skills in mentoring and supporting other carers.
- Availability to work AM and PM shifts, including weekdays and weekends with occasional night shifts.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build positive relationships with older people and their families.
- The ability to understand and follow individual client care plans.
- Sound problem-solving skills and the judgement to know when to escalate issues to a supervisor.
- Proven time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- A proactive, dedicated approach to delivering best-practice care.
- Flexibility to adapt to workplace demands and a collaborative team spirit.
