Programmed Facility Management is seeking experienced Cleaning Utilities to join our team at the Karratha Gas Plant, supporting our client Woodside.
This is an ongoing opportunity for Karratha-based candidates to join an established site team, providing high-quality cleaning services across site facilities.
Working on a 2:1 roster, you'll work 12-hour shifts across a combination of day and night shifts. Accommodation is provided on site, with employees travelling to and from site by bus or carpool.
Please note: This position is specifically for Karratha-based candidates. FIFO applicants are not being actively sought for this opportunity.
The Opportunity
As a Cleaning Utility, you'll be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across site facilities, helping to ensure a safe, clean and well-presented environment for employees and contractors.
This is primarily a minesite and facilities cleaning role, covering areas such as site offices, crib rooms, ablutions and other operational facilities.
You'll work as part of an established team, completing scheduled cleaning requirements while responding to ad-hoc requests and supporting the wider site team when required.
With an ongoing contract and established operation, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable employment in the Karratha region.

What You'll Be Doing
- Cleaning site offices, facilities,
crib rooms, ablutions and other designated areas
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness across site facilities
- Completing scheduled cleaning requirements within allocated timeframes
- Responding to ad-hoc cleaning requests as required
- Following established cleaning policies, procedures and safety requirements
- Correctly storing and using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintaining appropriate levels of cleaning materials and consumables
- Assisting with stocktakes and monitoring cleaning supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues or site concerns to the relevant Supervisor
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work workplace
- Supporting the wider site team when required
About You
We're looking for reliable and hardworking Cleaning Utilities who take pride in their work and understand the importance of maintaining high standards in a mining environment.
Previous site-based cleaning experience is strongly preferred, and you'll ideally understand the requirements of working within a high-risk facility.
You'll be comfortable working long shifts, operating within established procedures and working as part of a team in a remote site environment.
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous minesite, mining camp or high-risk facility cleaning experience (Essential)
- Previous commercial, industrial or facilities cleaning experience
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleaning standards
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your time effectively
- The ability to work as part of a team and respond positively to changing priorities
- Good general computer literacy
- Professional approach and strong customer service skills
- Current C Class driver's licence
- Karratha-based residency
- Long-term Australian working rights
