We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supply Officer. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the effective management and distribution of stock throughout our organisation. About the Role:
You will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the timely delivery of essential supplies across the hospital. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Scanning, picking, and packing stock items with precision and efficiency to fulfil departmental requests.
- Delivering stock to designated storage areas and department locations in a timely manner.
- Analysing inventory levels and placing orders to maintain optimal stock quantities, utilising computer systems effectively.
- Maintaining accurate records of stock movements and inventory transactions.
- Organising and managing storage areas to ensure easy accessibility and proper stock rotation.
- Collaborating with department heads and team members to understand supply needs and resolve any stock-related issues.
- Conducting regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Identifying opportunities to improve supply processes and contributing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Monitoring stock expiration dates and managing stock disposal in compliance with organisational policies.
- Communicating transparently with stakeholders regarding stock availability and delivery timelines.
