Production Operator
Wacol, Brisbane | Day & Afternoon Shift | 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Join a well-established manufacturing operation in Wacol as a Production Operator, working within a modern plant environment producing chemical and construction products. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous manufacturing, production, batching or processing experience who is comfortable working around raw materials, machinery and manual handling.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for supporting the production process from raw material handling and batching through to packaging and dispatch, while maintaining high standards of safety and product quality.
Key responsibilities:

- Operate plant and manufacturing equipment
- Load and handle raw materials for blending, mixing and processing
- Monitor production processes and product quality
- Bag, package and palletise finished products
- Operate a forklift to move materials around the site
- Complete production paperwork and basic computer entries
- Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Work safely in a dusty manufacturing environment, including wearing a respirator when required
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, batching or processing
- Forklift license needed




- Comfortable working in a dusty or chemical manufacturing environment
- Physically fit and capable of regular manual handling
- Valuable communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Able to pass a medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Available to commit to a 6-month fixed-term contract
