We are now seeking an energetic and proactive problem solver with passion for technology and ERP process excellence. This role is responsible for creating, testing, training and roll out of the ERP system (Epicore P21).
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, located at our Sydney CBD Head Office, you will take responsibility of the system admin trouble shooting and creation of training materials / instructor led training for employees, including onboarding across the business.
This role would suit someone who is hands-on, approachable, has attention to detail, and a great communicator with a “go getter” attitude.
What you’ll be doing
- Implementation and Configuration: Become the group system expert (Epicor P21) including processes and SOPs on Quotes, Order Entry and Customer Service.
- System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with IT and Data teams to troubleshoot and resolve identified defects
- User Support and Training:
- Develop training programs and train users to implement processes across the group as the system is rolled out.
- Conduct various types of ERP testing, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing and performance testing
- Identify test data requirements and prepare datasets to support testing activities
- Record test results, document defects,
and track issues using defect tracking systems
- Design training programs tailored to different user roles and proficiency levels with the organization
- Develop training materials such as manuals, guides, presentations, and online tutorials.
- Create engaging training content that effectively communicates ERP concepts, functionalities, and best practices.
- Conduct instructor-led training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are well-documented, consistent and easy to comprehend
- Develop and conduct an orientation session to introduce new employees to the ERP system based on their role and level of proficiency with the ERP system
- Create templates to align with organizational branding guidelines for ERP-related communications and collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and feedback on template design and content requirements
- Process Optimization:
- Continuously analysing and optimizing business processes within the ERP and identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in knowledge sharing sessions, peer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Vendor Management: Being up to date with ERP functionality and capability.

- Technical Proficiency: a deep understanding of ERP system and related technologies. This includes knowledge of software development, databases and system integration.
- Problem-Solving Skills: identify and resolve issues quickly to prevent disruptions in business operations.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyse complex data and processes is essential for optimizing the ERP system and identifying areas for improvement.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for providing user support, conducting training sessions and collaborating with team members
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring data accuracy and system reliability requires meticulous attention to detail.
- Adaptability: The ability to adapt to current technologies and processes is essential, as ERP systems are constantly evolving.
