1. Current registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, supported by substantial experience in public health nursing.
2. Proven experience leading and delivering public health programs, including communicable and non-communicable disease prevention, control, and health promotion initiatives with the ability to manage competing priorities of your work area.
3. Demonstrated leadership, management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships across health, community and government sectors to influence outcomes and deliver value for your team and WACHS public health service.
4. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a sound understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory and workplace standards, including Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Work Health and Safety requirements.
5. Ability to lead and support your team through the use of clear and concise communication, positive and open mindset, setting, explaining and monitoring performance expectations, and fostering staff growth and development through coaching,



feedback and ongoing learning opportunities.
