Zenith Search is currently seeking experienced Pump Fitters for an ongoing DIDO opportunity with a growing pump services contractor.

This role will suit a trade-qualified Pump Fitter or Mechanical Fitter with solid pump maintenance experience, a reliable attitude and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small site-based team.

The business has secured a new long-term contract and is now building out its dedicated maintenance team.

The Opportunity

This is a good opportunity to get in early with a new contract and become part of the core pump maintenance team from the start.

You will be responsible for pump maintenance and repairs across site, with a dedicated office, workshop and full amenities being established to support the role.

A ute will also be provided and equipped for the role, with the ability to take it from Perth to site.

The Role

You will be working across pump maintenance, repairs, fault-finding and site-based mechanical support.

The contractor will be responsible for managing pump maintenance across site,



so this role will suit someone with good pump knowledge who can take ownership of the work and become a reliable point of contact for pump-related maintenance.

Duties Will Include

- Pump maintenance and repairs
- Fault-finding and diagnostics
- Mechanical fitting work
- Supporting site pump maintenance requirements
- Assisting with installations and maintenance works as required
- Working from a dedicated site workshop
- Using a fully equipped site ute to support day-to-day works
- Working autonomously across site when needed
- Supporting a small site-based team
- Maintaining safe work practices and site standards

What You Will Need

- Mechanical FitterTrade qualification
- Pump maintenance experience
- Mechanical fitting experience
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work within a small team
- Reliable work ethic
- Safety-focused attitude
- Ability to work an 8:6 roster
- Ability to DIDO from Perth

Highly Regarded

- Fusion welding experience
- Poly welding experience
- Poly welding / fusion tickets
- Eddy Pump experience
- Gorman-Rupp pump experience
- Mining or civil site experience
- Previous site-based pump maintenance experience
- Experience working across small maintenance crews
