Production Supervisor Timber Manufacturing | Bassendean

AWX is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee a busy timber manufacturing facility in Bassendean, producing timber pallets, wooden boxes and packaging products.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the production team, workflow, safety, quality and daily production targets.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing day-to-day production operations
- Supervising and supporting production employees and Leading Hands
- Coordinating daily workloads, staffing and production priorities
- Monitoring production output, quality and productivity
- Ensuring production targets and deadlines are achieved
- Managing employee performance, attendance and workplace standards
- Conducting pre-starts and toolbox meetings
- Ensuring WHS procedures and safe work practices are followed
- Training and supporting new and existing employees
- Identifying and resolving production, machinery and workflow issues
- Working closely with management, maintenance and logistics
- Completing production reports and documentation
- Driving improvements in safety, quality and productivity

To be considered, you'll need:





- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader or similar
- Experience supervising teams within manufacturing or production
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads, people and production priorities
- Good understanding of WHS requirements
- Hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- LF Forklift Licence is highly regarded.

Due to the full time hours, Working Holiday Visa holders and Student Visa holders with restricted hours cannot be considered.
