About the role

All Constructions is seeking experienced and reliable Construction Labourers, Formwork Carpenters and Concreters to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on position based in Brisbane QLD 4000, where you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects from start to finish. Whether you specialise in formwork carpentry, concrete work, or general labouring, your contribution will be essential to delivering high-quality construction outcomes on time and within budget. This casual role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse projects within a dynamic construction environment.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing, levelling and organising work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations

- Supporting formwork carpenters by cutting, shaping and assembling timber or steel formwork systems for concrete pouring

- Mixing, placing and finishing concrete in accordance with project specifications and safety standards

- Operating and maintaining hand tools and power tools safely and responsibly

- Transporting and handling construction materials, including timber, concrete, steel and other components

- Assisting with the erection and dismantling of scaffolding and temporary structures when required

- Following all site safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to Health and Safety regulations

- Cleaning and maintaining work areas to keep the site organised and hazard-free

- Responding to direction from supervisors and contributing to a collaborative team environment

- Assisting with formwork stripping,



cleaning and preparing for reuse on subsequent pours

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working as a construction labourer, formwork carpenter or concreter on residential, commercial or industrial projects

- A solid understanding of construction site safety practices and the ability to work in compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour, lift heavy items and work at heights where required

- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction and formwork

- Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring and finishing techniques (advantageous for concreters)

- Formwork carpentry experience, including timber and steel formwork systems (preferred for those specialising in this area)

- A current White Card (Construction Safety Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one

- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work with a strong commitment to safety

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under supervision

- Valid driver's licence (beneficial for site mobility)

- Any relevant certifications or tickets (such as working at heights, confined spaces, or forklift operation) are advantageous
