About the role

Civil X Pty Ltd is a growing Adelaide-based civil construction company specialising in all aspects of earthmoving and civil works. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Civil Labourer to join our team based in Adelaide, SA for an immediate start.

This role will commence as a casual position offering 30-40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, day shift).

As a Civil Labourer, you will play a vital role in our operations, assisting with a range of civil construction and earthmoving activities to support the successful delivery of our projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual looking to build their experience and career within the civil construction industry.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting with general civil construction and labouring duties across various projects

- Assisting operators with site preparation, excavation, earthworks, drainage and other civil works

- Performing manual labour tasks including digging, shovelling, raking, moving materials and site clean-up

- Assisting with the loading, unloading and movement of materials, tools and equipment

- Working collaboratively with the Director/Owner to complete tasks in a timely and professional manner

- Operating small plant and machinery where appropriately trained and licenced





- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in civil construction, earthmoving or general labouring is preferred

- White Card (Construction Induction Card)

- A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude

- Ability to perform physically demanding manual labour and work outdoors in varying conditions

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Commitment to safety and a proven track record of following secure work practices

- Current driver's licence

- HC or HR driver's licence (preferred but not essential)

- Excavator, Skid Steer, Bobcat, Front End Loader and/or other relevant machinery tickets or experience highly regarded but not essential
