About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on supporting clients with complex needs, enjoys leading service development, and is motivated by the opportunity to mentor and shape the next generation of clinicians.

You will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred therapy that empowers clients to achieve meaningful participation, independence, and improved quality of life. As a senior member of our team, you will also play a key role in service growth, clinical leadership, and supervision.

In this leadership role, you will:

- Lead complex therapeutic support — Work within a multidisciplinary framework to support clients with complex allied health needs, including those with progressive neurological conditions.
- Deliver person‑centred OT services — Provide individualised, strengths‑based interventions tailored to each client’s goals.
- Develop and review therapy plans — Collaborate with clients, families, carers, and providers to design and evaluate effective therapy plans.
- Complete functional assessments and reports — Conduct high‑quality assessments, information gathering, and therapeutic documentation.
- Manage complex enquiries — Provide specialist support for clients with significant and challenging needs.




- Support service growth — Contribute to new client acquisition and meet billable targets while maintaining clinical excellence.
- Develop clinical capability — Engage in ongoing professional development and advanced practice learning.
- Build partnerships — Strengthen relationships that enhance OT service delivery across Royal Rehab LifeWorks.
- Mentor and supervise — Provide guidance, supervision, and support to junior clinicians.
- Collaborate with senior leadership — Work closely with the Regional Manager and senior clinical team to drive strategic growth and service excellence.
- Champion OT services — Promote and lead best‑practice occupational therapy within the organisation

About you..

You are a client‑focused, motivated Senior Occupational Therapist who is passionate about making a positive impact in people’s lives. You bring strong clinical capability, leadership qualities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional therapy services.

Criteria:

- Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Tertiary level qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working with people with a disability who may have a range of complex and challenging support needs
- Demonstrated knowledge and experiences in the development and implementation of occupational therapy assessment and intervention strategies in a disability context.
- Demonstrated ability to develop plans, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience to provide support and supervision to other staff.




- Strong written and verbal communication skills including problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle (Required for community‑based service delivery.)
