A market-leading developer-builder operating across the property development, construction and investment space is looking for an experienced Draftsperson to join its established House & Land division.
Working across single and double-storey standalone homes, this role will focus on the wholesale and investor market and offers the opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of residential work.
Core Responsibilities
- Produce detailed working and construction drawings for single and double-storey homes, ensuring designs are accurate, practical and buildable.
- Develop and update documentation throughout the pre-construction process, incorporating design changes, consultant information and project requirements.
- Work closely with Estimating, Pre-Site, Development and Construction teams to ensure drawings align with budgets, specifications and build requirements.
- Liaise with external consultants, engineers and building surveyors to coordinate documentation and resolve any design or technical issues.
- Manage a number of homes simultaneously, prioritising deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy, consistency and attention to detail.
- Identify potential drafting or construction issues early and provide practical solutions to keep projects moving.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience as a Draftsperson within volume and residential building environments.
- Strong ArchiCAD experience.
- Strong understanding of NCC, Australian Standards, building regulations and residential construction methods.
- Ability to manage multiple homes and deadlines while maintaining high-quality documentation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants.
- Must reside in Victoria with full working rights.
