Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Clinical Trials Admin Officer to join our growing on a full time (1.0EFT) fixed term basis for 12 months.

The Clinical Trial Administration Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery of clinical trials and teletrials within the Research and Clinical Trials Unit at Latrobe Regional Health. Working closely with the Clinical Trials team, this position provides high-quality administrative, governance and operational support to ensure clinical research activities are delivered in accordance with study protocols, regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice standards.

This role supports a broad range of clinical trial activities including data management, study documentation, governance processes, biological sample handling, kit management and stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative and innovative research environment.

The role of the Clinical Trials Admin Officer is to:

- Provide administrative and operational support for clinical trials and teletrials, ensuring study activities are delivered in accordance with protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate study files, trial documentation and records within clinical trial management systems, databases and spreadsheets.
- Support clinical trial governance activities, including preparation of ethics and governance submissions, amendments and regulatory documentation.
- Assist with biological sample handling and shipping, kit control, data entry, site monitoring visits and general trial coordination activities.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with investigators, sponsors, research staff,



healthcare professionals and trial participants.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance clinical trial processes, compliance and research outcomes across the organisation.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with researchers, clinicians, participants and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate documentation, databases and records.
- The ability to work autonomously, take initiative and contribute positively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
