Join us and be part of a team making a real impact in communities across Australia.

In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of are-able’s Head Office, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact for students, visitors, staff and members of the community. You’ll manage reception, answer and direct phone and email enquiries, assist visitors and ensure everyone receives a positive and helpful experience when they connect with are-able.

You’ll provide administrative and clerical support to the Training team, helping the day-to-day delivery of our training programs run smoothly. This will include responding to training enquiries from businesses and individual students, assisting with online enrolments, maintaining databases and records,

auditing student files and preparing general correspondence and documentation.

As part of our Head Office team, you’ll help keep our workplace operating smoothly by coordinating incoming and outgoing mail and couriers, maintaining office supplies and amenities, supporting meeting rooms and shared spaces, and maintaining relevant office registers. You’ll also support the administration of the Training division by monitoring the monthly training debtor list and following up overdue accounts.

Most importantly, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that is committed to creating opportunities for inclusiveness in our communities.

You’ll bring at least two years’ experience in an administration role, ideally within a busy, customer-focused workplace, together with strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using databases and other systems. You’ll be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail and be able to effectively prioritise and manage a range of tasks and deadlines.

You’ll have a genuine passion for providing high-quality customer service and be approachable, professional and confident communicating with people face-to-face, over the phone and in writing. You’ll be comfortable dealing with a wide range of enquiries and able to provide helpful information while knowing when to refer matters to the appropriate team.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed. You’ll be able to manage routine administrative responsibilities while responding positively to unexpected or ad hoc tasks,

and you’ll understand the importance of confidentiality, professionalism and accuracy when dealing with sensitive information.

Most importantly, you’ll demonstrate a commitment to inclusion, diversity and respectful workplace practices. You’ll be comfortable working with people from a range of cultures, backgrounds and experiences and contribute positively to a team environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.

Occasional travel between our Warrnambool sites is required to deliver assets and mail, so a current Driver Licence is an inherent requirement of this position.
