Workshop / Service Coordinator

AKJ Services is a Darwin-owned civil construction company with a growing fleet, workshop and operations team. We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Workshop / Service Coordinator to become the central point of coordination for our workshop and fleet activities.

This role is scheduled to commence in December 2026.

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, solving problems, managing priorities and keeping things running smoothly. You'll work within a small office environment and have the autonomy to manage your workload, build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, and ensure maintenance and administrative requirements are completed on time.

What You'll Be Doing

- Coordinating servicing, repairs and maintenance for vehicles and equipment.

- Managing workshop administration, records and maintenance documentation.

- Maintaining fleet registers, compliance requirements and service schedules.

- Preparing purchase orders and coordinating invoicing processes.

- Liaising with suppliers, workshop personnel and internal stakeholders.

- Following up outstanding parts, repairs and service requirements.

- Supporting workshop compliance, WHS and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For





- Experience in service coordination, workshop administration, fleet administration, service advising, parts interpreting or a similar role.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Robust Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

- A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.

- Confidence working independently and making day-to-day decisions within your area of responsibility.

- Someone who thrives in a small team environment and is comfortable working with limited day-to-day supervision.

Highly Regarded

- Experience within automotive, transport, civil construction, plant or workshop environments.

- Maintenance coordination or fleet management experience.

- Knowledge of vehicle, plant or equipment maintenance processes.
