We’re looking for an experienced National Product Manager – Power Transmission to take ownership of a key product category and drive its commercial growth across our national business.

This is not a desk-based product management role. We’re looking for someone who will be visible across our branch network, actively engage with our sales teams, suppliers and customers, and proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities.

You’ll combine strong Power Transmission knowledge with commercial capability to provide national product leadership, build market presence and turn opportunities into profitable growth.

A little bit about the role

- Own and drive the national strategy for our Power Transmission portfolio.
- Proactively identify and develop sales opportunities across existing and new customers.
- Work alongside our sales and branch teams to develop and convert opportunities.
- Build strong engagement across our national branch network and champion the Power Transmission category.
- Provide product and application expertise to support key customer opportunities.
- Develop strong supplier relationships and collaborate on growth initiatives and market opportunities.
- Lead the introduction and promotion of new products across the business.
- Develop product knowledge and capability across our sales teams through training and joint customer activity.
- Monitor market and competitor activity and identify opportunities to grow sales, market share and profitability.
- Lead and provide direction to the Power Transmission Product Support Coordinator, ensuring day to day support is provided across the business.
- Provide leadership around product range, pricing, positioning and inventory strategy.

Here’s a bit about you

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- Strong experience within Power Transmission, industrial distribution or a related industrial products market.
- Sound knowledge of belts, pulleys, chain, sprockets, couplings, gearboxes, motors and associated products.




- A strong commercial and sales mindset with a track record of developing opportunities and growing business.
- Experience in product management, business development, technical sales or a similar commercially focused role.
- Strong supplier, customer and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to engage and influence sales teams across a national network.
- Confidence getting in front of customers and working alongside sales teams to develop opportunities.
- The ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives through to an outcome.
- A willingness to travel nationally and spend time with our branches, customers and suppliers.
