THE ORGANISATION
Our client is a well-established NDIS and disability services provider, employing approximately 200 people nationally. They are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support, and are currently strengthening their People & Culture function ahead of confirming a permanent part-time HR appointment.
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on temporary engagement of approximately six weeks, working three days per week with the flexibility to work remotely. You will step in to provide practical, day-to-day HR support across the organisation, working closely with people leaders to manage current HR priorities while the permanent role is recruited. Core responsibilities include employee relations and providing day-to-day HR advice to managers, supporting performance management and probation review processes, and managing employee complaints, grievances and workplace concerns as they arise. You will support managers in preparing for and conducting employee meetings, including associated documentation, and will contribute across recruitment and onboarding for both support worker and corporate roles. The role also covers broader employee lifecycle support and general HR administration and case management.
Please note as this is a short-term role (6 weeks) you must be immediately available.
THE CRITERIA
To be successful, you’ll ideally bring 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure to employee relations and a good understanding of Australian employment legislation and modern awards. You’ll be proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace, independently with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Prior experience within NDIS, disability, community services, health care, aged care or another regulated, award-based environment is highly regarded, as is familiarity with the SCHADS Award and the Employment Hero platform.
At Peoplecorp, we are dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in every recruitment process. We believe that a rich variety of perspectives drives innovation and success. We actively seek candidates from all backgrounds and encourage individuals of all races, genders, abilities, and experiences to apply.
