MANKiND® is seeking an experienced massage therapist who combines advanced hands-on expertise with a polished, personable and professional approach.

This opportunity is suited to an established Remedial Massage Therapist, Physiotherapist or Nurse who is appropriately qualified, registered and insured to provide professional massage services.

MANKiND has served Sydney clients for more than 22 years. Our predominantly male clientele values discretion, consistency and highly skilled therapeutic care. You will work within an inclusive, modern setting alongside experienced massage, skin, cosmetic and health professionals.

MANKiND currently has female massage therapists and particularly welcomes applications from experienced male practitioners to broaden our team representation, increase client choice and respond to established demand for male therapists.

About the Opportunity

The successful practitioner will provide remedial, sports, deep-tissue and relaxation massage under an independent service-provider agreement, subject to the arrangement satisfying all applicable legal requirements.

You will have the opportunity to build a consistent client following within an established clinic while maintaining professional responsibility for your qualifications, insurance, registration and scope of practice.

Preferred Availability

We are particularly interested in practitioners available for several of the following shifts:

- Monday: 9:30 am–6:30 pm

- Tuesday: 9:30 am–6:30 pm

- Thursday: 9:00 am–8:00 pm

- Sunday: 10:00 am–4:30 pm

Final availability will be discussed with the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality remedial, sports, deep-tissue and relaxation massage.

- Conduct thorough consultations and identify client needs, goals and contraindications.





- Develop appropriate treatment approaches and adapt pressure and technique to each client.

- Maintain accurate, professional and contemporaneous clinical notes.

- Monitor client progress and provide suitable aftercare guidance.

- Recognize concerns requiring referral to another healthcare practitioner.

- Build trusted professional relationships that support client satisfaction, retention and rebooking.

- Collaborate appropriately with MANKiND’s massage, skin, nursing and health professionals.

- Maintain excellent hygiene, infection-control, draping and treatment-room standards.

- Uphold MANKiND’s expectations regarding professionalism, discretion, presentation and client experience.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

- A Diploma of Remedial Massage or an equivalent recognised massage qualification. Registered nurses and physiotherapists are also welcome to apply where they hold an appropriate massage qualification and have extensive professional massage experience.

- At least three years of recent professional massage experience.

- Demonstrated expertise in remedial, sports, deep-tissue and relaxation massage.

- Current professional-indemnity and public-liability insurance covering every service offered.

- Current professional-association membership where applicable.

- Current health-fund provider numbers.

- Current First Aid and CPR certification.

- A valid ABN and the ability to enter an independent service-provider arrangement.

- Valid Australian working rights, including permanent residency or Australian citizenship.

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, contraindications and safe treatment practices.





- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

- A polished, professional and well-presented manner.

- Confidence working with a diverse, inclusive and predominantly male clientele.

- The physical capacity to safely deliver consecutive 60- and 90-minute massage treatments.
