Your new role

As the Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for the protected, compliant, and efficient operation of a large-scale production assembly facility and associated premises. You will oversee day-to-day facilities' management activities, ensuring the site remains operational, well-maintained, and aligned with regulatory, safety, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the facility, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace.

- Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities across buildings, infrastructure, and operational equipment.

- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.

- Drive workplace health, safety, environmental, and compliance initiatives across the site.

- Lead safety meetings, audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

- Maintain site emergency management, first aid, safety reporting, and compliance documentation.

- Support facility upgrades, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Manage facility assets, inventory, workplace services, and operational supplies.

- Liaise with internal stakeholders, customer representatives, regulatory authorities, and external agencies.





- Support site security, access control, contractor management, and security compliance requirements.

What you will need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring demonstrated experience managing facilities operations within a manufacturing, production, industrial, or similarly complex environment. You will have a strong understanding of workplace safety, compliance, contractor management, and facilities maintenance, along with the ability to build effective relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.

You will also possess:

- Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or a related discipline (Certificate IV, Diploma, Degree or equivalent).

- Proven experience overseeing day-to-day facilities operations within a manufacturing, assembly, production, or industrial environment.

- Experience working within the defence industry is desirable

- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and related operational systems.

- Australian citizen with full working rights.
