Elizabeth Street Extended Hours Preschool is a highly regarded Not-For-Profit Organisation which provides outstanding Care and Education for children in our local community. Our team is small, passionate, dedicated and caring with strong trusting relationships with our families and community. We are a Child Safe and Child First service who is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher and a Trainee for Full time positions.

Essential criteria for Early Childhood Teacher

- Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or Teaching.

- Current Working With Children Check

- First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates

- Child Protected Training certificate.

- Minimum 2 years experience is preferred

- Proven written and verbal communication skills

- Proven documentation skills and work samples

- Positive and friendly attitude, team player with a motivated work ethic

- Working knowledge of The Early Years Learning Framework 2.0 and Pedagogical Documentation

- Full time availability 5 days/week 7am-6pm

- Own transport preferred as minimal public transport options nearby.

- Minimum of 2 credible references required.

Your role

- To work in collaboration with our Educational Leader and professional and friendly team to provide stimulating and flexible learning environments

- Ensure that an Educational Program is planned, implemented,



reflected on and documented for each child collaboratively with families in our team environment

- Develop respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Ensure health and safety requirements are consistently achieved

Essential criteria for Trainee

- Proven written and verbal communication skills, school leavers welcome to apply.

- Positive and friendly attitude, team player with a motivated work ethic.

- Motivated to learn on the job and complete required training course.

- Ability to complete Child Safe Training prior to commencing employment and to acquire a verified Working with Children Check if over 18 years old.

- Full time availability 5 days/week Monday to Friday 7am-6pm, traineeship can not be accomplished while attending school.

- Own transport preferred as minimal public transport options nearby or a reliable source of transport.

- Character references required.
