Project Engineer - Commercial Construction

A commercial builder is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their growing Queensland team. With a robust pipeline of major healthcare, education, commercial and high-rise developments, this is an opportunity to work on technically complex projects alongside some of the industry's most respected professionals.

The Role

As a key member of the project team, you'll help drive the successful delivery of large scale construction projects by managing stakeholder relationships, monitoring project performance, and ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating project activities to ensure critical milestones and construction programmes are met.

- Managing procurement processes and subcontractor packages.

- Monitoring project costs, variations and commercial performance.

- Liaising with clients, consultants and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

- Driving site quality, safety and compliance outcomes.

- Assisting with risk management, planning and project reporting.





- Identifying and resolving technical and construction-related issues as they arise.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess:

- Must have experience as a Project Engineer within the commercial construction sector.

- Must have worked on either of the following - high-rise building projects. healthcare, hospital, education

- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project controls.

- Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.

- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
