HRM is currently recruiting on behalf of several clients across the Sunshine Coast who need skilled Accounts / Finance Officers for temporary assignments. These roles range from short term cover to longer term temp contracts, so whether you're after a few weeks' work or an ongoing assignment, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role
You'll step into a finance support role covering day-to-day accounts functions, with variations depending on the client and assignment. Most roles combine accounts payable and receivable duties with some general administrative support, so you'll need to be comfortable juggling a few different tasks and picking things up quickly.

Key Responsibilities

- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconciling invoices, statements and supplier accounts
- Following up on outstanding payments and resolving account queries
- Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
- Processing payments and preparing remittances
- Assisting with month-end tasks as required
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team




- Liaising with internal staff, suppliers and clients as needed

About You

- Proven experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
- Hands-on experience with MYOB and/or Xero
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with figures
- Good communication skills and a professional, reliable manner
- Comfortable picking up new systems and processes quickly
- Available to commence immediately – this is essential, as these are temporary positions filling urgent client needs
- Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the length of the assignment
