With our continued growth we are seeking a highly capable and experienced General Manager - Bulk to oversee and lead all aspects of our Bulk services business.

This role is critical to the continued success of the KTrans business, managing the safe and effective delivery of our bulk services and fleet operations, ensuring compliance with national transport regulations, and driving new commercial opportunities all whilst aligning to the KTrans Five Pillars Values of DISCIPLINE | LOYALTY | ACCOUNTABILITY | HONESTY | PRIDE.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Bulk business including;

- Driving a safety-first culture throughout the Bulk team.
- Take accountability for the Bulk business and drive strong safety, people, customer, commercial and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, particularly CoR and NHVR regulations Lead, manage, and optimise the performance of the Bulk Business.
- Lead and develop a team of operational leaders and support functions
- Deliver customer service excellence and contractual compliance.
- Develop and implement systems, processes, and technology to improve fleet efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Optimise fleet, labour and asset utilisation.
- Work closely with the EGM to align the bulk business strategy with broader business objectives.

About you:

You are an experienced operational leader with a track record of delivering results in the a transport, logistics, mining services or industrial environment, you enjoy motivating people to achieve shared gaols and developing a high performing team.





You will also have:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in transport, mining services or high industrial industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with a hands-on and solutions-focused approach.
- Extensive experience managing large fleets, with experience in bulk supply chains and bulk material movement solutions.
- Deep understanding of Australian transport regulations, including Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR legislation.
- Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to generate new revenue streams outside of internal operations.
- Demonstrated capability in systemising and scaling transport operations for growth, whilst operating in an efficient manner with a focus on high utilisation of our quality people and assets.
- High level of autonomy, initiative, and accountability.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry certifications (desirable).
