Training Administration Assistant
Location: Wingfield Office
Employment: Full-time
Shift: Day Shift
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Training Administration Assistant to join our team based at our Wingfield office.
This full-time position is responsible for coordinating and supporting employee training activities across the business, ensuring training requirements, records, inductions and compliance documentation are maintained accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with Trainer Assessors, operational teams and key stakeholders to ensure employees receive the training and information required to perform their roles safely and competently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and review site training requirements in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support and specialist assistance to Trainer Assessors.
- Coordinate employee induction processes and ensure current induction documentation is available.
- Maintain accurate employee training records and files.
- Prepare and update job descriptions for current employees and changes to existing roles.
- Coordinate training materials including toolboxes, awareness presentations and other resources.
- Schedule and facilitate group training sessions, including rooms, paperwork, stationery and other requirements.
- Assess employee task instructions and training requirements to support competency.
- Provide re-inductions and refresher training where required.
- Maintain and communicate proposed training schedules to management.
- Assist with training related to WHS, environmental requirements, Quality,
HACCP and GMP.
- Support ongoing compliance with company policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
- Assist with export-related training requirements to support product integrity and country-specific requirements.
- Build effective working relationships with operations, WHS, maintenance, production and other departments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of new policies and procedures.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – essential.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Intermediate computer skills, including sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and organisational database systems.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to administration.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet departmental targets.
- Knowledge of WHS, HACCP, GMP and environmental requirements would be highly regarded.
- Experience within a manufacturing, food production or similar operational environment would be advantageous.
