G-Solar & Electrical is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our Cairns team.

For more than a decade, we’ve built a strong local reputation by providing quality solar and battery solutions backed by genuine customer service. As one of the region’s largest solar companies, we have the experience, resources and technical capability to support our customers throughout their entire journey.

Unlike many businesses in the solar industry, we employ our own in-house installation teams and have dedicated design, technical and after-sales service departments. This means you’ll be supported by experienced people who can confidently deliver the solutions you recommend.

We’re looking for someone who wants to build a rewarding, long-term career with our business—not simply sell solar systems.

The Role

You’ll work directly with residential and commercial customers to understand their energy needs and recommend solar and battery solutions suited to their property, lifestyle or business.

With the support of our design, technical, installation and service teams, you’ll be able to focus on building strong customer relationships and delivering an honest, professional and high-quality sales experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing qualified solar and battery enquiries

- Consulting with customers to understand their energy needs and goals

- Preparing and presenting tailored system proposals

- Following up opportunities and managing your sales pipeline

- Conducting site visits when required

- Building your knowledge of solar, battery storage and energy management

- Developing customer relationships and generating current opportunities

- Working closely with our design and operations teams from proposal through to installation

You Don’t Need to Be a Solar Expert

Industry knowledge is valuable—but we can teach you the technical side.





You’ll receive comprehensive training covering solar PV, battery storage, system design and the premium products we supply and install.

What matters most is your ability to communicate confidently, build trust, learn quickly and represent G-Solar & Electrical professionally.

Previous experience in sales, account management, business development or another customer-focused role will be highly regarded.

Solar industry experience is advantageous, but it is not essential.
