We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant to join our client’s team in New South Wales on a temporary/casual basis.
If you have previous experience supporting trades, are confident using hand and power tools and enjoy hands-on work, this could be a great opportunity to secure your next assignment.

The Role
As a Trade Assistant, you will work alongside qualified tradespeople and site personnel, providing hands-on assistance across day-to-day maintenance and project activities.
Your duties may include:
- Assisting tradespeople with maintenance and repair activities
- Using basic hand and power tools
- Preparing tools, materials and equipment for works
- Assisting with the removal and installation of equipment and components
- General labouring and manual handling
- Moving and organising materials around the work area
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- General site clean-up and housekeeping
- Following instructions from tradespeople and supervisors
- Identifying and reporting hazards or equipment issues
- Working in accordance with all site and workplace safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Labourer or similar
- Experience within maintenance, construction, engineering, mining or heavy industry highly regarded
- Confidence using basic hand and power tools
- Good mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card where required
- Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual tasks
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to complete any required pre-employment and site requirements
Additional tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Space, Forklift or EWP will be highly regarded.
