- Draw and document recent and ongoing interior and exterior architectural projects
- Prepare and interpret plans, preliminary sketches, working drawings and detailed specifications, ensuring that designs are feasible for implementation and cost-effective
- Demonstrate capability in conceptual design, construction and tender documentation
- Support the Design team and construction managers, architects and surveyors
- Communicate closely with internal teams
- Have an acute sense of management skills to take key initiatives and coordinate projects
- Be responsible for conducting on site measurement accurately and incorporating it into your designs
- Coordinate with the councils and clients for the CDC and OC approvals for the architectural design
- Have strong knowledge of Council controls and regulations and Australian Standards
- Be responsible for keeping a data base of existing and any new material/fixtures suppliers
- Coordinate with the in-house estimation and projects team for the successful delivery of the projects designed by the team.
Skills and Required Experience
You must have:
- At least Bachelor degree or a higher qualification
- Minimum one year experience working in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills to work with clients and team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
