- Salary: AHP2 $94,997 to $110,052 p.a. + super + salary sacrifice packaging + regional incentives*
- Employment: Full Time - Temporary Contract (up to 5 November 2027)

Join our supportive multidisciplinary team at Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN), Port Pirie as a Rural Generalist Speech Pathologist, working with children and adults across a diverse range of communication and swallowing needs.

You’ll work across hospital, community and residential care settings, using individual and group therapy, telehealth and consultation to deliver client-centred care.

What you’ll do:

- Support children and young people aged 0–18 years through the CHAD team
- Develop skills in speech, language, fluency and AAC
- Support paediatric feeding and adult dysphagia management
- Provide adult communication support, including speech, language and voice
- Deliver education on dysphagia management and IDDSI standards

About Port Pirie and the Mid North

Set against a dramatic backdrop of the Southern Flinders Ranges on the shores of Spencer Gulf lies Port Pirie. This historic seaport town is home to beautiful heritage buildings, fascinating industrial history and a blossoming cultural precinct. The Mid North region is renowned for its superb rural panoramas, culturally unique townships and is South Australia’s gateway to the outback and Southern Flinders Ranges. Port Pirie has the largest case-mix funded health service in the YNLHN and provides outreach to 8 regional sites including Port Broughton, Crystal Brook, Gladstone, Jamestown, Laura, Booleroo, Orroroo and Peterborough (max 1.5hrs drive from Pirie).

Allied health services are based at Port Pirie GP Plus, which has fit for purpose clinical areas, group rooms and resources.
