The Opportunity

Royal Freemasons Springtime Residential Aged Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Leader Registered Nurse to join our clinical care team on a 9-month fixed-term parental leave contract commencing 1 October 2026.

In this rewarding leadership role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents while providing guidance, support, and clinical leadership to our dedicated care team. You will help foster a positive care environment that promotes resident wellbeing, dignity, and the highest standards of clinical practice.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is available to work the following roster: Thursday to Sunday 07:00- 15:15pm on a fortnightly roster.

Your responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate staff to deliver safe, high-quality resident care.

- Complete AN-ACC assessments, care plans, and documentation.

- Administer medications and provide direct resident care.

- Manage wound care, assessments, and reviews.

- Liaise with GPs and allied health professionals.

- Support, mentor, and manage team performance.

- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S;, and organisational policies.

- Monitor clinical resources and costs effectively.

- Promote explicit, professional communication with residents, families,



and stakeholders.

- Contribute to continuous improvement and positive resident outcomes.

Who You Are:

- Demonstrated experience in wound management, dementia care, and palliative care.
- Previous team leadership experience within an aged care setting is highly regarded.
- Minimum three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in aged care.
- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team to achieve excellent resident outcomes.
- Customer-focused with a strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check
- Vaccinated against Covid and Flu highly encouraged
