About the Role

As a Casual Home Carer , you will provide essential support to elderly clients in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Based in Jindivick and surrounding areas , you will work closely with our healthcare team to support our clients’ wellbeing and help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide practical support with daily living activities in clients’ homes.
- Assist with general cleaning and other home care duties as required.
- Support clients to maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with clients and their families.
- Identify and communicate any health or safety concerns to our clinical team.
- Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure high-quality client care.
- Provide reliable and compassionate support while respecting each client’s individual needs and preferences.

Qualifications and Experience

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Home & Community Care, Aged Care, Disability Services, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least six months’ relevant experience in home care or community support.
- Current National Police Check.
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle with third-party insurance.
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates obtained within the last six months.
- A genuine passion for supporting elderly people to live independently at home.
- Strong communication skills and a caring, empathetic approach.
