SUMMARY ROLE AND FUNCTION
n
Karitane staff provides safe, effective, quality care consistent with the organisation's mission, philosophy, values and standards of care, and adhere to the Professional Code of Conduct.
n
Professional practice must reflect adherence to agreed professional standards and be responsible for the delivery of clinical services under the supervision of the Manager.
n
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Child and Family Health Nurses to join our dynamic team at the Karitane Early Parenting Centre at Campbelltown.
n
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
n TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT in accordance with The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations' Nurses Agreement.
n
Shift times and days may be varied according to theneeds of the organisation.
Karitane services are provided at a number of sites within the Sydney Metropolitan Area and accross NSW. The majority of Karitane's services close for approximately two weeks over theChristmas/New Year period, during which time employees are required to take leave. This position may be required to provide clinical services via Telehealth in a work from home capacity.
n Karitane supports a smoke free environment including grounds, buildings and vehicles. Applicants will have a commitment to EEO & WHS, ethical practice and the principles of cultural diversity.
n Relevant Police Check, Working with Children Check, Apprehended Violence Orders and prior employment checks, including relevant disciplinary proceedings, will be conducted on recommended applicants.

VACCINATIONS
n
Category A workers are required to meet and maintain the vaccination criteria (as per the current NSW Health policy directive) including annual influenza vaccinations.

Essential for this role are the following: (the criteria below must be addressed in your cover letter)

- Current NSW Registration Nurse or Midwife (NSW) List A
n
- Child and Family Health Nursing Qualification with minimum 2 years' experience.
n
- Demonstrated experience in Child and Family Health with an understanding of current evidence informed practice
n
- Demonstrated advanced communication skills in mixed modalities
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
- Demonstrated advanced computer skills and data collection systems and practices
n
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnership and deliver customer-centric
n
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
