Aquarobics Instructor - Casual Pool

Spinifex Recruiting is currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic Aquarobics Instructors to join our casual pool and support upcoming classes across the Tweed region.

n

We currently have 26 Aquarobics classes requiring instructors throughout October and November, predominantly based in Murwillumbah. While there are no permanent shifts available at this stage, this is a great opportunity to pick up casual work and potentially be considered for future classes as they become available.

The Role

n

As an Aquarobics Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering safe, engaging and enjoyable aquatic fitness classes to participants of varying ages and abilities.

n

You will be required to:

n

n
- Plan and deliver engaging Aquarobics classes
n
- Create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for participants
n
- Provide instruction and modifications to suit different fitness and ability levels
n
- Ensure classes are delivered in accordance with relevant safety requirements
n
- Maintain a professional and positive approach with participants
n

About You

n

We are looking for instructors who are:

n

n
- Qualified in Aqua Exercise/Aquarobics instruction through a recognised training provider
n




- Experienced or confident in delivering group aquatic fitness classes
n
- Confident and enthusiastic when leading a group
n
- Friendly, approachable and community-minded
n
- Reliable and available to cover casual classes throughout October and November
n
- Committed to providing a secure and positive experience for participants
n

Essential Requirements

n

To be considered for this role, you must have:

n

n
- A current recognised Aqua Exercise/Aquarobics Instructor qualification, such as SISSS00135 Aqua Exercise Instructor, or an equivalent recognised qualification
n
- Current First Aid certification - HLTAID011 Provide First Aid or equivalent
n
- Current CPR certification
n
- Relevant aquatic/water rescue qualification, where required
n
- Any other relevant clearances or requirements applicable to working within an aquatic facility
n

Please note: A general swimming teacher qualification alone is not sufficient for this position. Applicants must hold an appropriate qualification to deliver Aqua Exercise/Aquarobics classes.
