Georges River Grammar School is seeking to employ an exemplary English / History Teacher on a Permanent Full-Time basis to join our Secondary School Team. This position commences Term 1 (2027).

Key Selection Criteria

n

The School has an exemplary Humanities program and is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and professional English / History teacher to join our team.

n

To be successful in this role it is desirable you have:

n

n
- Teaching experience across Stages 4, 5 (English / History) and 6 English (the ability to teach Stage 6 English is preferred)
n
- Confidence with writing
n
- Highly developed communication skills
n
- The ability to motivate students and promote a love of learning
n
- Ability to collaborate with your colleagues
n
- The flexibility to work with a range of student abilities
n
- A letter of application addressed to the Principal, Mr Ben Haeusler
n
- Curriculum Vitae (no longer than 4 pages) and copies of any relevant qualifications
n




- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one if successful)
n
- Name and contact details for two referees
