Job Description

Uniting Newcastle is seeking a Maintenance Officer to keep our homes protected, functional and welcoming for older residents in Newcastle. This full‐time role offers hands‐on maintenance, independent work and teamwork in a not‐for‐profit community environment.

You will handle general repairs, outdoor upkeep and safety checks, with a competitive hourly rate of $31.51 plus super and no weekend work. Locum cover is required from 25 - 27 September 2026 with travel and accommodation included.
