About the role
n
You will join a professional IT team supporting a large and diverse environment, working with internal stakeholders, dealerships and external IT teams to ensure reliable and secure network operations.
n
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support and enhance enterprise network infrastructure across the organisation.
n
This is a hands on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, network configuration experience and the ability to work with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
n
Your key responsibilities will be:
n
n
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
n
- Support firewall configuration, changes and security improvements.
n
- Manage and maintain IPsec VPN configurations.
n
- Perform network device setup, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
n
- Support routing and switching activities within the environment.
n
- Review network architecture documentation and implement approved changes.
n
- Assist with scripting, automation and process improvements.
n
- Support legacy environment decisions and provide recommendations where required.
n
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable network services.
n
n
What you'll bring
n
n
- 5+ years' experience in Network Engineering in a corporate environment
n
- Strong experience with network configuration, troubleshooting and device management.
n
- Valuable knowledge of Fortinet, Juniper and/or Cisco technologies
n
- Experience managing and troubleshooting IPsec VPN solutions.
n
- Solid routing and switching skills
n
- Exposure to scripting, automation and network process improvement.
n
- Strong communication & documentation skills and experience working within structured IT environments.
n
- Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, CCNE, etc.
n
- Current driver's licence is advantageous.
n
